Meet the Geek

So you want to know about me, huh?

There's not much to me, really. I'm a single working mom of two kids. I don't have a whole lot of time for hobbies, as the kids and work take up a lot of my time.

All the things I "enjoy" tend to be when my kids are at their dad's house or at school! I enjoy reading, writing, watching TV shows. And that's essentially what this blog is for! It's for me to "geek out" about the things that I love! So here's a list of some of the things you may see on this blog:

Backstreet Boys -- Yes, a boyband! I love them! I have loved them since 1999. They have a new album, have been on tour since last year and are just incredible!

"The X-Files" -- I am up to season 9 in rewatching this series. I'm not sure how I feel about the "reboots"

"Star Trek" -- I watched all of DS9 and am currently working my way through Voyager.

University of Florida Gators -- I have been a Gator fan since 1996. Their gymnastics team has won THREE National Championships! So you may, from time to time, see things on here about the Gators. (And no, I did not attend college there.)

Various other TV shows that are no longer on the air like "Fringe," "Star Crossed," "Roswell," "Almost Human," "The Orville." As you can see, the theme is sci-fi. It's sad to me that some of these shows only last for a short time, yet I love them so much!

And we can't forget BOOKS! I love to read, though often times don't have a whole lot of time to do so. You can follow me on GoodReads here. I haven't been able to do a lot of it lately due to work.

I also love to write. I have been writing since I was young, but have had dry spells. I primarily write BSB fanfic. Wanna read all my stuff? Go here!
